This short video tells the story of the dogs in the P.H.A.T. training program as they get ready for a walk with TMAC staff members and volunteers, go for a walk and a romp in the kiddie pools, and return home to their kennels. The program prepares these dogs for transitions to new homes and keeps them from becoming stressed from living in a kennel. They learn to walk calmly on leashes, called Gentle Leaders, take direction from their human companions, interact comfortably with other dogs, and enjoy outdoor smells and sights.
